Seminars and Workshops

Seminars and workshops may be arranged to take place in your country or anywhere in China. Since 1994 Master Su has travelled to Western Europe to lead seminars in Chen Tai Ji and Xin Yi Liu He Ba Fa.

Topics for study can include Tai Ji forms and weapons sets, pushing hands (Tui Shou) and martial applications, Chan Si Gong (Silk Reeling Excerises), Chi Gong and more. Contact any of the people on the contacts page for information on fees, travel arragemnents, etc.

Liuhe Bafa (also called water boxing) is a little known Chinese internal martial art. Despite its similarity to the three known Chinese internal arts, Taijiquan, Xingyiquan and Baguazhang it has undergone an independent development, the origins date back more than a thousand years.

Chen-style Taijiquan 13 movement form

The Chen-style Taijiquan is the original form of Taijiquan, from which many other styles developed.Chen Style Taijiquan contains very many elements of self defense.

It is characterized by the dynamics of its movements, soft quiet periods and by its spiral dynamics. This short form was created by Su Huaxiang in 2003.

Chen-style Tai Chi Saber

This saber is a traditional weapons form of Chen-style Tai Chi. In addition to the typical characteristics of the Chen style - change of hardness and softness, Speed and slowness - it is characterized by directness.

Silk Reeling Qigong

Chan Si literally means "bundle delicate silk thread spiral, " Gong is exercise. This special Qigong, which evolved from Chen-Style Taijiquan, is particularly suitable for basic training. It contains a number simple spiral movements to help the practitioner to sensitize perception of the internal energy of motion. The meridians where the Qi circulates in the body, are activated and regulated, so that the positive effect on the internal organs is attained. Blood circulation, respiration, digestion and metabolism are stabilized and improved.

Wudang Qigong

The Qigong of the Daoist monastery on the Wudang Mountains in northwest China Hubei province has a long-standing tradition. The monk Zhang Sanfeng is often considered the founder the internal martial arts. It originated in the region a variety of traditional methods of inner alchemy. Wudang Qigong is easy to learn, can be done standing or sitting and is therefore suitable for people of all ages suitable.

This weekend, Mr. Su Huaxiang gives an intensive course the art of Chinese sword. The sword (Jian) is regarded in China as "the queen of weapons". The techniques of the sword and graceful and flowing. Particular attention is in the various intricate and fast techniques.

This course is designed to be open, so that each according to his ability is supported. The basic exercises serve as a foundation for all. Intermediate and advanced students will learn both the 16 and 32 movement forms. Beginners learn the 16 movement form.
